Close to 3000 gathered for the second annual AbbeyFest: Faith, Music and Family all-day music festival held at Daylesford Abbey in Paoli, PA.
“It’s like a family reunion,” said one dad, adding: “a slice of Heaven with the kids running around having a great time, fantastic music and we’re all here worshiping Jesus.” Added a mom, “It was another electrifying, grace-filled experience that I will never forget! We all walked away transformed and the positive mark we will carry will ripple through time in ways that we’ll never fully appreciate until we are reunited in heaven.”
Headliner Matt Maher dazzled the AbbeyFest audience with songs from his new "Saints & Sinners" album. Special guests included Brandon Heath and the International Justice Mission Tour with Sara Groves and Jennny & Tyler. Also appearing was Ike Ndolo, Marie Miller Band and rapper Righteous B, along with the St. Norbert Praise Band FireHill Worship.
Curtis Martin of FOCUS was a keynote speaker as was Sister Miriam Heidland, SOLT.
AbbeyFest 2015 was a glorious sunny day with plenty of fun for everyone including dancing, several bouncy bounces, face painting, renewing old friendships and making new ones, and just having a blast rocking to the music.
The Mass procession was led by the local Knights of Columbus followed by Norbertine Fathers, Diocesan Priests, order priests and Abbot Richard Antonucci.
Following Mass, Sister Miriam Heidland, SOLT., gave an inspired witness with Matt Maher’s rousing set leading into our Eucharistic Procession, Adoration and Benediction ending a wonderful day.
